CSO staff helps adults in Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Union, Snyder, Mifflin, Clinton, Lycoming, and Centre counties find jobs, prepare for interviews, and obtain a job that fits their skills and interest. We coordinate Pennsylvania CareerLink® services in Bloomsburg, Sunbury, Williamsport, and Lock Haven through a partnership with Advance Central PA. We also started the first mobile career center in Pennsylvania – The Link.

The Link

The Link is the first mobile career center in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania! The Link travels to neighborhoods across the region to help job seekers and employers connect. When visiting The Link, you can set career goals, create a resume, learn about employers, and find a job. We also facilitate hiring events for local employers. This state-of-the-art van has seven computers, Internet service, a printer, and a presentation screen. The Link is ADA-accessible and services are offered at no cost to the public.

Partnering for Success

We partner with County Assistance Offices (CAO) to help people who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) access training and prepare to enter the workforce. These services are provided to individuals who are referred by their CAO caseworker.

 

EARN (Employment, Advancement, and Retention Network) staff provides case management, job readiness workshops, skills training, work activities, job placement, retention services, and support services to help participants find and keep a job.

EARN is available to people who are referred by the CAO in Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Lycoming, Clinton, Mifflin, Centre, Synder, and Union counties.
